About Us

Who We Are

Hey everyone, I’m the Faculty of Khan, the creator and architect of IM Central: welcome to my course! IM Central is a Royal College review course for Internal Medicine resident physicians (even attending physicians are welcome!) studying for the core IM exam.

About me: I’ve created this course with an extensive background and interest in education. The alias Faculty of Khan is, in fact, inspired by my YouTube channel of the same name, where I teach university-level Math/Physics to students around the world. But what about my medical background? Well, I graduated medical school from the University of Toronto in 2021, and residency in Internal Medicine in 2025 from Western University where I served as Chief Resident (CMR) in my PGY-2/3 year.

My work as CMR is really what inspired me to make this course. I realized that there weren’t many high-quality, affordable resources for Internal Medicine residents in Canada (perhaps even in general) for their board exams. Since completing residency, I’ve worked tirelessly to create comprehensive core IM study materials for all IM subspecialties. This eventually led to the creation of IM Central, the central hub for all of these study materials. There’s still work to be done in completing the full review course (alas, I work full-time and don’t have an army of fellows to assist me), but the foundation has been set!

If you have any questions about the study materials, feel free to email me at facultyofkhan@gmail.com. Good luck and happy studying!
